Hi,
This could be the last posting, as I will be retiring permanently on 8 th of August 2009. I wish to thank all who have helped in any way the running of the Department smoothly so that we can produce graduates in the Agriculture field.
In June this year, around 80 new Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia students will be taken in under the Train and Place using Human Resource Development Fund. They will be paid RM 500/mth for 6 months.
Also, in early July, more than 100 students are expected to take up the new course offered i.e. Diploma in Landscape Management. Four more courses in the planning stage are Preliminary, Certificate in Agriculture, Agri Business and Livestock Diplomas.
Crops planted had been increased to include cacao, coffee, roselle, capsicum and others. A new nursery site had been erected to cater to the expanding student population.
The coming Sem will see a change in Lecturers as some resigned to take other post. The coordinator for the Dip Agric programme with UPM will probably also change to Bintulu.
Please refer to website: www.kolejrisda.edu.my for the latest updated happenings.
Thanks. Best regards.
Ee.
